Public Transportation

Taking Amtrak
1. [Start] at the Amtrak station in Berkeley located at the corner of 3rd & University Ave.
2. Turn right on University Ave and proceed until Shattuck Ave.  You will need a taxi or a bus—CCIT is not walking distance from the Amtrak station.
3. Turn right on Shattuck Ave. until the intersection of Shattuck Ave. & Bancroft Way.
4. CCIT is located on the corner of Bancroft Way & Shattuck Ave. at 2105 Bancroft Way.
5. For a schedule of Amtrak trains arriving in Berkeley
6. Transfer from Amtrak to Bart is also available in Richmond.

Taking Bart
Take Bart to the Downtown Berkeley Bart Station.  Walk south for approximately 2.5 blocks.  Taxicabs also available at Bart station.

Driving Directions

Directions to CCIT from the Oakland International Airport
A shuttle from the airport takes passengers to the Bart station every 20 minutes. Please look at the following link for directions from the Oakland International Airport.

Directions from San Francisco International Airport
1. [Start] at San Francisco International Airport
2. Take Hwy 101 North to I-80 East towards Oakland
3. Follow I-80 over the Bay Bridge towards I-80 Berkeley/Sacramento
4. [Exit] University Ave. and follow the ramp right.
5. Turn [Right] on Shattuck Ave
6. Proceed on Shattuck Ave. until the intersection of Bancroft Way and Shattuck Ave.
7. CCIT is located on the corner of Bancroft Way & Shattuck Ave. at 2105 Bancroft Way.

Directions from San Jose Airport
1. [Start] at San Jose International Airport
2. Take I-880 North towards Oakland
3. Take the I-980 East exit towards Walnut Creek (CA-24).
4. Take CA-24 East towards Berkeley / Walnut Creek.
5. Exit Martin Luther King Jr. towards 51st street, keep right at the fork in the ramp and merge on to 52nd street.
6. Turn left on Shattuck Ave. and proceed until the intersection of Bancroft way and Shattuck Ave.
7. CCIT is located on the corner of Bancroft Way & Shattuck Ave. at 2105 Bancroft Way.

Driving From Sacramento, CA
1. Starting in SACRAMENTO, CA on 10TH ST - go < 0.1 mi
2. Turn Left on I ST - go 0.5 mi
3. Take ramp onto I-5 SOUTH - go 0.7 mi
4. Take the US-50 exit toward SAN FRANCISCO - go 4.0 mi
5. US-50 WEST becomes I-80 WEST - go 70.3 mi
6. Take the UNIVERSITY AVE exit toward UNIV OF CALIF - go 2.6 mi
7. Turn Right on OXFORD ST - go 0.3 mi
8. Continue on FULTON ST - go 0.1 mi
9. Turn Right on BANCROFT WAY - go 0.1 mi
10. Arrive at 2105 BANCROFT WAY, BERKELEY, on the Right

**Public Parking is available around CCIT.  (Public Parking lots outlined in orange on above map.) The lots generally charge 1.50 for the first half hour and then lower the rate to $1.00 for each additional hour.   CCIT is also surrounded by metered parking. 

**CCIT Parking Non-event parking is available at CCIT on a limited basis. Please call ahead of time to see if free CCIT parking is available.
