California PATH More than 700 research publications, most of them online, from the California PATH program at the Institute of Transportation Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. Projects include guided vehicles,traffic management, and systemwide applications of advanced technologies.

Published works include manuals, papers, self-teaching CDs, software, presentations, workshops, and reports on methods, successes, failures, and results.
Intelligent Transportation Research Program at the University of Washington Focuses on computer networks and telecommunications systems to improve transportation system performance. Areas covered include transit, traveler information. Web-based services, ridesharing and regional ITS architecture.
Ohio State University Center for Intelligent Transportation Research Affiliates are the Traffic and Transportation Lab, the Center for Automotive Research and Intelligent Transportation, the Control Research Lab, the Center for Mapping, the ElectroScience Lab, and the Signal Analysis and Machine Perception Lab.
Turner Fairbanks Highway Research Center - ITS Research Research focuses on enabling technologies and travel managements. Home of the Transportation Research Laboratory (TReL), with real-time evaluations of hardware and facilities. Also publishes Public Roads Magazine. Has links to rural ITS sites.
